According to Eva Simon, an officially authorized professional at campaigning group Liberties which is at present coordinating all the complaints said that- “The real-time bidding advertising system may be broadcasting the personal data of users to hundreds or thousands of companies. This advertising method breaches the EU’s data protection regulation (GDPR),” he said.
The groups of countries that logged a complaint against Google privacy are Bulgaria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Italy, Estonia, Slovenia, and Hungary. At present Google is not responding to any complaint or request. This situation dropped the shares of Google parent Alphabet Inc by approximately 6% on Monday according to the latest reports.
